About Becca
Since joining Walcott Communications in 2022, Becca has contributed to and led on a range of projects across the four service areas.
She has facilitated the development of a faculty research strategy, co-written a report on best practice for research-policy engagement, developed a Theory of Change toolkit for a life sciences charity, and has delivered a multitude of training workshops and tutorials for Impact Integrators.
Prior to joining Walcott Communications, Becca developed REF impact case studies and environment statements across a range of faculties for the University of Bristol, which was ranked 12th for impact in the UK. She also co-designed a pilot research evaluation exercise at the University of Gothenburg (2017-2019), Research Evaluation for Development 2019. The report from the exercise has informed ongoing policy decisions at the University and the broader Swedish HE sector.
In her spare time, Becca runs a river pollution campaign in Bristol, which has informed a debate in parliament, sparked a feature-length documentary film, and for which she frequently engages with local and national media.
